Welcome to Gallery - Photo, Video & Audio ("App", "we", "us", or "our"), developed by Galaxy Apps Orbit / Anuj Sachan and hosted under OrbitInfra. We are fully committed to respecting and protecting the privacy, security, and integrity of your personal media and data.

1. Information We Access and How It Is Used

Gallery - Photo, Video & Audio is an offline multimedia management app. To fulfill its core functions — browsing albums, playing videos, playing music/audio, editing photos, and organizing media — the App requests access to specific device capabilities:

A. Media Files (Photos, Videos, and Audio)

The App accesses files stored in your device's internal storage and SD card using Android's standard Scoped Storage and MediaStore APIs:

• Photos & Images: Used to display photo grids, timelines, albums, full-screen viewing, zooming, slideshows, and photo editing (cropping, rotating, filter adjustments).
• Videos: Used for in-app hardware-accelerated video playback, thumbnail generation, duration formatting, and video organization.
• Audio Files: Used for audio browsing, album sorting, and playback via the built-in media player with background playback and notification controls.

Local Processing Only: All photo rendering, video decoding, audio playback, thumbnail caching, and photo editing are performed exclusively on your device's local CPU and GPU. Your media files are never uploaded to external servers or shared with third parties.

B. Media Location Metadata (EXIF GPS)

When viewing photo details or organizing photos by place, the App may read geographic coordinate tags (latitude and longitude) already embedded in the image's EXIF metadata.

• Location information is read strictly on-device to present photo capture details to you.
• The App does not track your real-time physical GPS location and never transmits or logs your coordinates.

C. Biometric Authentication for Private Vault

The App includes a secure Private Vault feature allowing you to hide and protect sensitive albums.

• Authentication is handled strictly through the official Android BiometricPrompt system framework.
• The App never accesses, collects, or stores your fingerprint, facial recognition scans, or biometric credentials. Authentication validation is computed by your device's dedicated hardware secure enclave.

D. Recycle Bin & File Management

To facilitate safe file organization without accidental loss, the App provides a local Recycle Bin / Trash:

• Deleted items are kept locally in the Trash folder for up to 30 days before permanent deletion, during which you can restore them at any time.
• Permanent deletion immediately frees storage space on your device.

3. Third-Party Services and Advertising

To keep Gallery - Photo, Video & Audio free for everyone, the App displays banner and native advertisements provided by Google AdMob (Application ID: ca-app-pub-2844649035048344~1549015188).

Google AdMob may collect and process pseudonymous identifiers and diagnostic signals in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy, including:

• Google Advertising ID (GAID / AAID)
• IP Address (used solely for coarse, non-precise geographical ad distribution, such as country or city level)
• Device identifiers, operating system version, device model, and performance metrics
• Ad impression, click, and interaction statistics

Opting Out of Personalized Ads: You can manage or disable personalized advertising at any time through your Android device settings by navigating to:
Settings > Google > Ads > Delete advertising ID (or Reset advertising ID).

4. Zero Personal Account Information

We do not require user account registration, social login, email sign-up, or phone number verification. We do not collect names, mailing addresses, financial data, payment information, or contact lists.

5. Data Retention, Security, and User Rights

• Data Ownership: You retain complete ownership of all media on your device. The App acts only as a local reader and editor.
• Deletion Rights: You can delete any media item directly within the App or clear the App's cache and local storage at any time via Settings > Apps > Gallery > Storage > Clear Storage.
• Uninstalling: Uninstalling the App completely removes all application settings, cache, and private vault configurations from your device.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for general audiences and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and international child privacy standards. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area).

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates, new features, or regulatory requirements. Any modifications will be published on this page with an updated "Effective Date".
